The impact of New Homes Week 2025

3 March, 2025

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate New Homes Week 2025 and mark the 20th anniversary of the campaign.

This year, more than 115 organisations, including 70 HBF members, took part—our largest level of participation to date. Over 650 pieces of user-generated content were shared across social media, contributing to an impressive campaign reach of more than 20 million.

Our 2025 theme, Community, gave us the opportunity to spotlight the sense of connection and shared pride found on new build developments. It also highlighted the significant investment home builders continue to make across England and Wales to support and strengthen local communities.

Influencer highlights

New Homes Week is built on authentic storytelling - sharing real voices that educate and inspire.

We were proud to collaborate with a range of influencers this year:

New research

To support broader media coverage, we produced regional reports and distributed them under embargo. Template press releases were also provided to members to help amplify key messages locally. This was successful in helping to generate regional media coverage to increase awareness at a local level.

Our partners and supporters

Our campaign partners helped amplify our message and champion the voice of the industry.

Highlights include our joint consumer guide on water efficiency with Waterwise, two guest blog posts on Zoopla’s website, a media release with Rightmove spotlighting new build buyer priorities, a video series with Close Brothers Property Finance, and valuable content contributions from Halifax Intermediaries, Mortgage Advice Bureau, First Time Buyer Magazine, and many more.
