Communities and Local Government (CLG) produces a wealth of housing statistics, including monthly house prices, quarterly house building  and annual land-use change and housing densities. These may be accessed through the CLG website.

NHBC’s quarterly publication, New House-Building Statistics, reflects the quality and breadth of information held by NHBC. It includes statistics for NHBC registered housing starts and completions, average daily sales, new house prices, affordability, the size structure of the house building industry, house building by house type, retirement home building, timber frame construction and building times for new homes.

The Office for National Statistics produces official economic and demographic statistics for the UK.

The Bank of England, which sets interest rates in the UK, publishes various monetary statistics as well as the closely watched quarterly Inflation Report, which sets out the Bank's view of the economy and projections for economic growth and inflation.
