Southern Planning Group

The Southern Planning Group meets three times a year to discuss regional planning issues. Members are invited to contribute to HBF’s local planning representations and broader consultation responses, as well as participate in task and finish groups and comment on submissions.

Planning Manager - Local Plans (Southern and Eastern)

Mark Behrendt is Planning Manager at the Home Builders Federation, with responsibility for local planning matters across the South-East and Eastern regions. His responsibilities include the review of local plans and the preparation of written representations to these plans, appearance at Examination Hearings and on-going engagement with Local Planning Authorities on evidence base supporting their plans.
