Sue Green, BA(Hons), BPl, MA, MRTPI is Planning Manager for the HBF with responsibility for local planning matters across the Midlands and South West regions.
Sue joined the HBF in 2013. Her career in house-building started in 1984 working for Barratt Homes followed by employment with McCarthy & Stone, Wilcon Homes, Lowry Homes and culminating in her appointment as Managing Director of Deeley Homes in 2005. Sue has also worked as a planning consultant starting her own consultancy business in 2009. A former accredited Building for Life assessor and CABE / Design Council Built Environment Expert.
Her local planning responsibilities include review of and written representations on Core Strategies / Local Plans, appearance at Examination Hearings and on-going engagement with Local Planning Authorities on SHMAAs, SHLAAs and viability assessments.
