Having studied Construction Management and worked in the building industry prior to joining AES Alex takes pride in developing value engineered solutions that bring cost certainty and tangible results to clients throughout the complete lifecycle of a development, from land buying and planning through to environmental compliance and post-construction testing and certification.
During his career with AES Alex has taken a lead role on a number of projects ranging from bespoke single developments to large mixed use regeneration schemes with stringent planning requirements. In recent years he has focused on working closely with Group Technical and Commercial Directors from RSLs, regional developers as well as many of the top ten housebuilders to develop their national specifications and provide them with consultancy to enable them to develop solutions to future regulatory requirements. He recently presented to over 900 delegates alongside Dr Victoria Tink (MHCLG) on potential solutions to achieve compliance under Part L and F 2021.
