The Regulations will impose the Waste Acceptance Criteria from 16 July. They require the pre-treatment of all non-hazardous wastes for landfill from 30 October 2007, the same date from which liquid waste can no longer be accepted at non-hazardous landfills. The Regulations will impose the Waste Acceptance Criteria from 16 July and set the standard for physical stability of landfilled monolithic waste.
