Working Rule Agreement
Following recent discussions between the employer and union sides of the Working Rule Agreement, a new 2011 Working Rule Agreement has been agreed and is now in the process of being printed. We will provide further details of this when available.
The recent discussions also reached agreement to recognise both the Royal Wedding Day on 29 April 2011 and the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Day on 5 June 2012 as extra days of holiday separate to the normal holiday entitlement on the basis that work done on either of these days is paid at basic rate with paid time off in lieu at a later date.
