HBF response on the latest HIPs consultation document We have co-ordinated the feedback from HBF members on the latest HIPs consultation document. It focuses mainly on the Energy Performance Certificates and reinforces our recent discussions with Simon Barnes and Carol Sweetenham. HBF welcomes the introduction of Energy Performance Certificates to increase consumer awareness of energy efficiency in the home, but would like to stress the importance of the issues outlined in the attached note being resolved so as to prevent any damage to new homes sales transactions on and after 1 June View the HIPs consultation document link here
