Following the withdrawal of the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Construction Site Visitor card, and in response to home builders' wishes, the Home Builders Federation (HBF) developed the Home Build Visitors Card.

Home Building Visitor Cards provide assurance that visitors to home building sites have essential onsite health and safety knowledge, demonstrated through successful completion of the CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) test.

They are beneficial for those in non-construction roles who visit home building sites on a regular basis.

Home Building Visitor Cards are available as physical or digital cards, which are checked by on-site teams using the Checarda app. The app can be downloaded on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
