HBF is to host a Webinar on Thursday March 11th providing a Spring Update on the housing market and the key issues affecting the housebuilding sector.
HBF executive chairman Stewart Baseley will provide an overview of the industry and a look at the key challenges for 2021.
Oliver Knight, partner residential research at Knight Frank will look at the market and how it is faring against the uncertain background of the economy and the pandemic.
As the journey to net zero continues, there will be detail on the government’s response to the Future Homes Standard consultation and what this will mean for Building Regulations and the effect on the industry with Neil Jefferson and Ed Lockhart.
The Webinar will look at the role of the newly launched New Homes Quality Board and the route map to the introduction to the industry of a New Homes Ombudsman with Chairman Natalie Elphicke.
And Andrew Whitaker, Planning Director at HBF will discuss how the government’s proposed changes to the planning system will affect the housebuilding industry.
