Statement of Community Involvement (SCI)
This documents sets out the ways in which the Local Planning Authority will consult the community and stakeholders, not only on other LDDs, but also on major planning applications. It is the subject of independent examination and should ensure that community involvement:
• is appropriate to the level of planning starts at the beginning of the process and continues throughout is seen to be effective is transparent and accountable is joined up with other community initiatives
