Improving the image of our industry is one of a number of priorities for HBF. In conjunction with our Marketing and Communications Group, we are currently developing a series of work streams in this regard. We will forward more details in due course but ongoing work includes the development of a web site aimed at demonstrating the range of career opportunities for young people in house building; and a project to model the wider economic benefits house building provides the country.
As part of this image work, we have developed a number of ‘Why buy new’ consumer-facing factsheets. We’ve taken care to have them designed to be equally suitable for a web-based audience or for use in marketing suites and show homes.
The topics covered in the first six (we will be producing another 4 in the future) are:
