As well as maintaining a close relationship with industry bodies, such as the Construction Industry Training Board and professional institutions, the Contruction Confederation's training advisory service offers advice on a wide range of issues including:

• Grants and levies
• Terms and conditions for apprenticeships
• National vocational qualifications
• Other qualifications (e.g. foundation degrees)
• The construction skills certification scheme
• Securing of government funding for vocational training
• Development and operation of the 'Investors in People' initiative
• Developing training plans

The training advisory service also provides regular briefings and other advisory papers for member companies.
