When is the next panel meeting?


Panel meetings are held approximately three times a year, depending on demand.

How will I know if I have been selected to present to the panel?


We will contact you in writing to let you know whether you have been selected.

Is it possible to defer our presenatation to the panel if we are not ready?


Yes - let us know when you are ready and we will consider your product for the next panel meeting.

Where will it take place?


The Panel presentation will take place at the HBF offices in London:

Who will be present?


There will be 5-8 home builder Panel members present plus representatives from the HBF/Construction Products Association.

What format should I present in?


It's up to you! Presentations can be product demonstration or powerpoint based or a combination of the two.

How long do I have to present?


30 minutes are allowed for each product presentation session. We ask suppliers to present for approx. 15 minutes and then allow the remainder of the time for feedback/questions from the Panel.

What questions should I be prepared for?


Please come prepared to answer questions from the Panel. The Panel will particularly be interested in the costs associated with sourcing and installing the product, timescales for installation and production capacity. Any examples of previous installations or work with home builders would also be beneficial.

What do I need to bring?


  • If you are presenting using powerpoint please bring the presentation on either a) memory stick or b) CD. A computer will be set up ready for the presentation.
  • An additional copy of the presentation on CD
  • Any supporting literature
  • Business cards for distribution!
