Regional Planner (South East)

London or South East

 

Career graded: £21,000 - £28,000

 

Planning for the future of the South East of England is entering a critical and challenging stage. Policy formulation at a regional, sub regional and local level is taking place over the next few years and planning for housing is a key issue in the region. We are currently seeking a Regional Planner to support our Regional Policy Manager in keeping abreast of all planning matters affecting HBF members' interests such as emerging local development documents, housing market and housing land assessments and other policy issues.

 

The successful applicant should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload in conjunction with the Regional Policy Manager and HBF members.

 

The post is career graded and applicants are encouraged from all levels of experience.

 

Salary and responsibility will vary accordingly.

 

The Home Builders Federation is a key stakeholder in the formulation and implementation of planning policy. With over 300 members building around 80% of all new homes in England and Wales each year we are a well-respected representative agency for the housebuilding industry.

Marketing Communications Manager (Maternity cover starting May 2008)

Salary from £36k dependent on experience, plus benefits

 

The Home Builders Federation (HBF) provides representation for private sector housebuilders and is the voice of the home building industry in England and Wales. Our members build around 80% of all new homes built in England and Wales in any one year.

 

We are looking for a Marketing Communications Manager with relevant experience to provide maternity cover to manage our marketing communications, including:

  • Management and development of the HBF website www.hbf.co.uk
  • Co-ordination, design and production of all corporate literature and other key member communications 
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of the New Homes Marketing Board programme and www.nhmb.co.uk website

The successful candidate for this post will have:

  • Good through the line experience including an understanding of digital/online communication, 
  • Excellent organisational skills,
  • The ability to communicate effectively with a range of different audiences
  • An understanding of the homebuilding and/or construction industry, which may have been gained from either client or agency side.
